Why “First Rain”
“Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.”
That is why First Rain opens every new year in January, the first month, with three days of worship, prayer and the Word.
Word for today
Short words from Scripture, as shared on our channels. Come back tomorrow for another, or read our devotionals.
Read the devotionalsWhen the answer has not come, don't let the silence become the reason you stop praying. Keep seeking Him while you wait.
“But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior.”
